Shanghai – Buick today officially launched the 2025 CENTURY, its upgraded flagship luxury MPV that sets a new standard for the segment. Five distinct models are available – two four-seat variants, one six-seat variant, and two seven-seat variants – at a price ranging from RMB 469,900 to RMB 699,900.

The 2025 CENTURY boasts a large body with a length of 5,230 mm, a width of 1,980 mm, a height of 1,867 mm and a long wheelbase of 3,130 mm. Inheriting Buick’s PURE Design philosophy, the 2025 CENTURY has a bold and poised stance that integrates Asian culture. The design of its prominent front facade draws inspiration from traditional Chinese architecture, incorporating a scaled grille and a sleek curved body conveying both elegance and sophistication.
The vehicle is equipped with industry-leading interactive LED headlamps, with each headlamp consisting of 90 LED beads and seven LED projectors, and a through-type floating LED taillamp system made up of 730 LED beads. When a user approaches or unlocks the vehicle, the dynamic concierge lighting system activates to provide a sense of ceremony.
Four-Seat Flagship Variants: Enhanced Travel Comfort
The four-seat variants have newly upgraded rear captain seats with the massage function. The seats come with the industry's largest 12-layer seat structure and a floating layer design. Premium materials such as infant grade pearl cotton and Surflex slow rebound triple comfort cotton are being used, with a profile design that perfectly fits the curves of the body, along with hand-stitched Fine Nappa semi-aniline perforated leather, dramatically raising the bar for comfort.
The seats are also equipped with the industry's most abundant functions, providing 18-way full electric adjustment, 5-zone heating and 18-point zone massage functions. Graphene heating technology brings spa-level enjoyment. The electric leg rests and electric roll-over pedals extend 616 mm. Meanwhile, the 160-degree ultra-large backrest adjustment angle allows passengers to sit as comfortably as desired.
The Bose Executive Edition sound system features two digital amplifiers and 21 acoustic speakers. Additionally, the headrests have built-in Bose ultra-near-field speakers and an industry-only soft reading light. There is also an 8-inch control screen in the center of the handrest.
The four-seat variants incorporate a 32-inch liftable smart screen. With the push of a button, the rear seats can be turned into a private space. An industry-first rear-seat smart slide rail with the intelligent welcome mode enables the seats to slide 320 mm. When the automatic welcome mode is turned on, the seats return to an appropriate position, with the leg rests stowed and the backrests reset to facilitate entry. After users are seated, the seats automatically return to the set position and the backrests adjust to meet personalized comfort preferences. It also allows the trunk space to be adjusted from 628 liters to 1,336 liters.
Adding to the sense of serenity, the four-seat variants’ star ceiling provides eight starry sky mode options through the 366 light and dark alternating star points scattered on the suede lining. Passengers can control the starry sky grouping and adjust the frequency of meteors through the 8-inch control screen.
Six- and Seven-Seat Variants: Flexible Luxury
The six-seat variant has a third row featuring independent seats with electric adjustment and three levels of heating/ventilation. Seven-seat variants have a third-row bench seat that can comfortably seat three adults. The theater-style cabin floor layout provides a good view for those in back. The electrically adjustable backrest tilts up to 132 degrees. When the electric seat cushion is folded, the third row can move up to 720 mm.
Both the six- and seven-seat variants come with a new 15.6-inch rear cabin smart screen mounted on the ceiling. Up front are a built-in 4.3-liter compressor refrigerator in the armrest box and a new steering wheel with four-way electric adjustment and three-speed position memory, which enhance driving pleasure.
The entire 2025 CENTURY lineup is equipped with a newly upgraded VCS intelligent cockpit, an EYEMAX 30-inch integrated curved screen, and a voice assistant based on AI technology. The model supports over-the-air upgrades, multi-instrument display mode, and various gesture operation functions.
Powering the 2025 CENTURY is an eighth-generation Ecotec 2.0T variable-cylinder turbocharged engine complemented by a 9-speed Hydra-Matic transmission. The combination delivers 174 kW of maximum power and 350 Nm of maximum torque. A five-link rear suspension heightens comfort and stability.
The 2025 CENTURY is available for purchase, pre-order, and test drives through Buick's official website, the iBuick App, or authorized dealers across China.
